Suit Jacket

A suit jacket is made with a matching pair of pants, crafted from the same exact fabric. Amongst the three options, suits are considered to be the most formal. Jacket and coat, we also give you a few ideas of the best shoes to wear with each. Our favorites to pair with a suit are the Kallum, Maddox, and Tinsley.

Blazer

When choosing a blazer for men it should be considered one step more casual than a suit jacket. It is not made with a matching pair of pants, and can be paired with a variety of colors/fabrics. We recommend these shoes to pair with a blazer: the Phoenix, Abbott, and Kaine.

Sport Coat

Finally, a sport coat or sport jacket is the most casual of the three options. It’s usually crafted using more rugged fabrics and a looser fit to accommodate layering. It pairs well with more casual pants, like khakis or jeans. Our favorite shoes to pair with a sport coat are the Dickinson, Peppley, and Dunbar.
